Great Burley
This is a great blend. Reminds me a lot of Golden Extra, but with less topping. It's still got some sweetness to it, and that nutty goodness you'd expect. Great on it's own, or to add some body to thin aromatics.

Solid cocoa Burley
This is a nice pile of pressed Burley with cocoa and sugar top flavors. In ready-rubbed form, it packs and burns very easily, but you want to dodge that first puff or two which will be full of blazingly hot marshmallow-flavored air. I could do with half of the amount of topping and far less sugar, to be honest, but this is the best competitor for Edgeworth Ready Rubbed, Sir Walter Raleigh, Sutliff Cube Cut, Stokkebye Cube Cut, and Prince Albert. I'm going to get a bunch of it and age it to let the topping sleep it off.

Newminster No. 702 Light Burley
Two steps up from the rough, highly flavored burleys of the past. This burley has more flavor than one might expect from the "light" designation. After a little sweetness at the outset of the bowl, the typical nutty burley taste comes through and proceeds to an attractive toasty finish. The broken flake cut contributes mightily to this tobacco's cool burning qualities. Will not bite or get bitter toward the end of the bowl. Excellent all-day smoke for the burley lover, or try adding a little to a Virginia or English blend to enhance the body and carry the flavor.
